Kaywoodie Tuxedo
Kaywoodie Tuxedo, Stem vulcanite , 1930s
This estate is a great little historical piece. These tuxedo pipes were originally made so as to fit into a tuxedo pocket and not show a bulge. This pipe dates from 1935 based on shape and markings. This pipe is very interesting. It has a calabash type chamber below the bowl with twin draft holes. This allows for an even burn despite having an oval-shaped bowl. This is a great historical piece and a great smoker too.
